Overview Reporting to the Store Manager the Sales Consultant’s role is to execute on the company goal of being “number one telecommunications company in the eyes of the customer” by: · Generating revenue by achieving sales targets · Ensuring total client satisfaction · Maintaining current product knowledge · Supporting overall store operations Responsibilities Generating revenue by achieving sales targets · Meets or exceeds sales targets for all lines of business (including wireless, TV and Internet) · Fact find to determine the clients' wants/needs and to provide them with a total solution · Follows company directives for customer service and sales processes · Takes every opportunity to offer additional products and services to clients to improve client retention · Provides advice for add-on products such as accessories, additional services, or anything else to improve the post-sales experience Ensuring total client satisfaction · Solidifies the client/Bell relationship in taking initiative to go the extra mile to exceed the client's expectations · Provides/offers the appropriate products and services to each client · Handles client escalations and acts as liaison between the client and others · Provides a professional image and communication style that represents the Bell brand Maintaining current product knowledge · Assumes responsibility for the knowledge of product, service and promotional offers by participating in training and coaching initiatives · Ensures all courses, requested by management, are completed in the timeframes allotted · Keeps up-to-date on company communications (Echoes etc.) · Takes initiative to keep up-to-date on competitors and market trends Supporting overall store operations Follows company policies and procedures at all times Qualifications · Secondary school diploma or equivalent mandatory; post secondary education an asset. · Retail sales or customer service experience · Excellent written and verbal communication skills · Comfortable with technology such as computers, mobile devices and digital merchandising · Quebec Only – Bilingualism in French and English Working Conditions · Flexible to work day, evening and weekend shifts, based on business needs · Flexible to work with a 35km radius of original store of hire Disclaimer: The above statements are intended to describe the general nature of work being performed by a Sales Consultant.
