Job duties/accountabilities:

In general, the developer’s main responsibilities will be to:

• Develop applications and reports using the software package tools as per specifications provided by analysts;
• Document detailed specifications and obtain the required approvals;
• Provide assessments on the time required to complete tasks;
• Apply software patches issued by Enterprise One Oracle;
• Modify applications and reports as needed in accordance with Enterprise One development standards;
• Conduct unit tests and take part in integrated testing;
• Solve the software’s functional and technical problems;
• Produce technical documentation on modifications made to the software;
• Research software package updates that could solve problems identified by application analysts;
• Work in collaboration with the CNC for the migration and deployment of modifications and updates to the software package;

• Inform clients and project directors of the work status.

Essentials skills /competencies

• Diploma as programmer-analyst;
• Minimum of 1 to 3 years’ experience in an ERP implementation as a developer;
• Experience in maintenance “event rule”;
• Good command of J.D.Edwards EnterpriseOne development tools:
  • Form Design Aid;
  • Report Design Aid;
• Table Design Aid
• Experience with a major enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, such as Oracle, J.D.Edwards, SAP, Peoplesoft, Great Planes, BAAN, Syspro, Navision, etc.;
• Functional knowledge of one of the folowing field : Sale and distribution, Production management, Finances;
• Good command of MS Office tools;
• Good oral and written communication skills, in French and English;

·         Freedom to travel outside Montréal to carry out projects.

Preferred skills/competencies

• SQL, Programmation C, MicroSoft SQL Server, Base de données Oracle, Base de données DB2, AS/400, Programmation RPG, Crystal Report, Formscape (asset);
• Dynamism and a desire to keep learning; a positive, “go-getter” attitude and good energy;
• Good adaptation and synthesis skills;
• Customer Focus/Service Orientation;
• Team spirit.
