The Champlain Community Care Access Centre (CCAC) is one of fourteen CCACs in Ontario dedicated to supporting and enhancing the quality of life, independence, health and well-being of individuals in the communities we serve by offering a single point of access for community services and demonstrating leadership and excellence in community care.
Geographically, Champlain is one of the largest CCACs, delivering care to over 23,000 clients every day. Our region includes Eastern Counties, Renfrew County, and a portion of North Leeds & North Grenville, spanning a diverse demographic population of both rural and urban clients.
JOB SUMMARY:
Under the general supervision of the Manager, Client Services, the Team Assistant is responsible for providing a broad range of client service support, administrative and clerical assistance to the CCAC Professional staff, clients, their families, service providers and the general public.
QUALIFICATIONS

Education
Secondary School Diploma

Experience
Minimum three years related clerical

Language
Fluency in English and French (written and oral) is required for some vacancies. Fluency in English is required for all positions.

Knowledge
·           General office procedures and equipment
·           Filing procedures
·           Telephone answering skills
·           Keyboard operation
·           Computer applications

Ability to:
·           Work well independently and as a team member
·           Organize work efficiently and in a timely fashion
·           Meet deadlines
·           Communicate effectively with various health professionals, agencies and the public
·           Type 25 w.p.m.
