Position: Reporter Cameraperson, CEP Local 87-M – 1 full-time position | Reference: CTVWIN 012012 | | Location CTV2 Windsor, ON | | Salary: CEP 87-M Wage Group 7 Min. 20.07 to Max. 29.61 | | Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week. Days, Evenings, & Weekends. Overtime as required.
Responsibilities: | - Propose and develop original story ideas
- Shoots material, gathers information, writes scripts and edits stories in packaged or voice-over form.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualificiations: | - Minimum of three year's television news experience in a daily news environment
- Graduate of a recognized college or university journalism program or equivalent experience.
- Experience with “live” presentation.
- Demonstrated ability to provide content to multiple digital platforms, including websites and social media (i.e. Twitter, Facebook, etc.)
- Experience with ENG camera and editing with non-linear equipment
- Strong team player.
- Demonstrated initiative, creativity and curiosity
- Creative storytelling skills and strong news judgement
- Ability to work quickly and under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Valid drivers licence with a clean driving record.
