| Position: Scheduling Assistant, Dome Productions Reference Number: ST-06212012 Location: Dome Productions, Toronto Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience. Hours of Work: 40 hours per week. Overtime as required. Responsibilities: The Scheduling Assistant works as part of the Operations department performing a variety of functions that relate to the crewing and travel coordination of freelance and staff operators. Duties include: · Daily crew calls to freelancer and staff technicians confirming details regarding to the specific remote and associated paperwork as the situation requires. Calls to all engineers and drivers with park & power times · Inputting crew lists in ScheduAll database ensuring that all crew lists indicate correct position, name and crew call times · Creating and maintaining accurate travel information on crew sign-out sheets for more efficient accounting reconciliation · Distributing Technical Producers Reports on a daily basis · Reconciling Per Diem following each event – preparing Cheque Requisitions when needed in order to supplement Technical Producer’s floats · Relief reception coverage required. · Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: · Excellent organization skills · Must be able to prioritize, manage and complete tasks effectively. · Ability to function well under heavy work assignments and multiple tasks. · Must have the ability to react quickly to changes and deal with stressful situations in a professional and courteous manner. · Proven ability to work as part of team. · Strong written and verbal communication skills · Knowledge of the Scheduall database system an asset. · Knowledge/interest of remote television productions an asset.
