|You will be a key part of the Great-West Life Sales and Marketing Centre team, where you will be one of our local Employee Benefit insurance experts.
Sales Specialists provide financial security advisors with product, marketing, sales, and service expertise. In this position, you will:
· Motivate financial security advisors to grow their client base with Great-West Life and meet their clients’ needs · Manage and grow an advisor and client customer base, including responsibility for pricing and profit generation · Assist advisors with sales, underwriting and business planning / marketing activities · Facilitate product training sessions for new advisors · Liaise with the head office underwriting, claims, marketing and distribution departments to assist with your goal of driving premium revenue · Work closely with an administrative assistant and service representative to assist in the execution of your business plan · Enjoy a fast-paced and results-oriented environment.
This role is located in Edmonton.
· Post secondary education, preferably in commerce, finance, business administration or a related field (or equivalent work experience) · Time management, leadership, communication and team building skills · Work ethic that demonstrates you are sales and results oriented, a motivated self-starter, career focused, dynamic and involved in extracurricular activities · Skilled at relationship building · Good communicator with the ability to present, train and transfer knowledge to a variety of audiences.
