Position Overview: Shared Enterprise Services Consultancy in Information Services provides expertise in how the business consumes infrastructure products and services. Account Advisory Services, as part of Shared Enterprise Services Consultancy, is the area focused on working with the business to provide this linkage with infrastructure service owners. Reporting to the Director, you will be the prime contact for the lines of business supported out of Winnipeg. You will also provide leadership and direction for infrastructure service requirements management and the associated practices executed by a team of analysts. Accountabilities: · You will participate in the establishment and ongoing cultivation of business relationships with corporate executives at GWL to support the development and prioritization of their strategic consumption of infrastructure products and services · By understanding the key business strategies and directions, you will translate these strategies and direction into mission-critical uses of infrastructure products and services to support the service owners evolution of their products and services, including gaps and opportunities for new, enhanced or the extension of infrastructure product and services · You will facilitate agreements between business and the infrastructure product and service owners for achievable service delivery, based on the value to the business and acceptable risk · You will provide management of change support to business processes and/or services resulting from technology events · You will be responsible for the financial and resource management of people and operating expenses associated with Account Advisory Services in the western region, including ensuring adequate information is collected to enable fair and accurate cost recovery, budgets are managed appropriately within operating guidelines and constraints, and staff are effectively managed and developed within HR guidelines. Qualifications and Competencies: · Minimum 7 years leadership experience. · Computer Science bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of knowledge and experience required. · Experience in routine dealings with senior leadership. · Experience working with Planning functions and planning-based information. · Ability to manage budgets and understand critical organizational financial issues. · Ability to grasp concepts quickly and to work independently with minimal direction. · Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communications skills. Desirable: · Demonstrated ability to present in professional and public settings. · Ability to use information for problem solving and planning. · Ability to multi-task in a deadline-driven environment.
