The Senior Investigator will identify, investigate and resolve allegations of fraudulent or dishonest activity across all lines of business with a view to protecting the assets and interests of the company, shareholders, policyholders and clients.

As a member of the Special Investigations Unit, you will plan and conduct investigations into fraud and other irregularities affecting our companies. You will develop investigation plans that ensure your investigation meets the standards required for criminal or civil prosecution. You will provide testimony in court and/or tribunals as required. The Senior Investigator will also prepare investigative reports for management, law enforcement and regulatory agencies, and make recommendations for improving procedures and internal control. Travel is required.


• A minimum of 7 years experience investigating fraud and related offences;
• Post-secondary education in a related discipline.
• Excellent investigative and interviewing skills
• Excellent communications and report writing skills
• Strong financial analysis and forensic auditing skills
• Working knowledge of the Charter of Rights, Criminal Code, Canada Evidence Act and insurance and securities laws
