Qualifications:




  • Post secondary education in Health Sciences

  • Certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist

  • Demonstrated expert skill in use of Sandman software and protocols

  • Demonstrated skill in techniques and the use of a variety of monitoring devices and instrumentation required for sleep studies

  • Demonstrated ability to accurately score sleep studies

  • Demonstrated leadership in managing “support duties” role

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in collaboration with others

  • Demonstrated experience in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting and repair

  • Demonstrated excellence in interpersonal and communications skills

  • Demonstrated commitment to professional development

  • Excellent demonstrated critical thinking, decision making and problem solving skills

  • Demonstrated ability to plan and lead quality improvement and change initiatives

  • Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision

  • Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis
