Reporting to the Assistant Vice-President, Product Marketing, Individual Insurance, as the Manager, Product Marketing, you are an important part of the Product Sales and Marketing team. You would primarily be responsible for ideation and development of compelling, end-customer product positioning, and product marketing strategies and tactics to increase our penetration into a focused consumer market segment.

You will be accountable for:
• Understanding the consumers and who will buy our individual insurance products and why
• Creating marketing programs, materials and promotions that promote features that clients are most interested in
• Working with our product manufacturer to determine which product and services will be viable, profitable and sellable
• Providing support to our sales partners on product positioning
• Understanding and communicating how consumer want to purchase our products and what content and materials they require to purchase
• Building and maintaining competitive market and product information relevant to the particular market segment
• Leveraging cross-selling opportunities with Wealth Management marketing team
• Leading a team of marketing product experts

Required Competencies and Behaviours:
• Proven marketing skills, acquired in the financial industry or packaged goods
• Strong communications skills, both verbal and written
• A University degree in business, preference to those with Financial Planner designation or equivalents
• Proven project, and people management skills
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities while adhering to strict deadlines
• Ability to operate in a matrix organization including collaboration and teaming skills
