GO Transit’s Fleet & Facilities Services office requires a Supervisor, Stores, to oversee the effective and efficient operations of the Bus Parts Stores, and participate in developing a full Warranty Program.  

Key responsibilities:
  • Supervising the day-to-day operation of bus parts stores at various locations.
  • Monitoring monthly stores budget reports.
  • Supervising the collection and maintenance of a variety of fleet maintenance operational data.
  • Participating in determining the economic mix of stock versus non-stock parts.
  • Ensuring the collection of data related to bus fleet.
  • Developing, reviewing and analysing a variety of bus equipment data.
  • Developing and maintaining various administrative procedures.
  • Developing, implementing and monitoring procedures to ensure cost effective administration of bus warranty programs.
  • Creating and maintaining data for projects and bus programs.
  • Developing, implementing and monitoring a cost effective parts rebuild program.
  • Maintaining employee uniform and locker information.
Location:   Streetsville, 6190 Mississauga Rd, Mississauga, ON


  • Community college diploma in a related field.
  • Coursework toward, or completion of, Purchasing Management Association of Canada (PMAC) certification/accreditation, would be an asset.
  • Minimum six (6) years’ related experience (e.g. inventory/parts management, warranty administration, parts representative in an automotive/heavy equipment parts distribution environment); prior supervisory experience would be beneficial.
  • Strong organizational, analytical and communication abilities are necessary.
