POSITION SUMMARY:

This role is responsible for the oversight of the Internet Gaming Solution technology with the objective to ensure the technology used for the Internet Gaming Solution is compliant with all applicable standards and regulations in Ontario, Canada and in the industry (e.g., VISA and Master Card’s Payment Card Industry – Data Security Standards (PCI DSS)), and that the needs of the iGaming business team for technology are met. This role is the single point of contact for the iGaming team and OLG for the delivery of the Internet Gaming Solution’s technology.

Requirements of this role include having a deep understanding of the architecture and information security features of the Internet Gaming Solution and to be the subject matter expert on the effectiveness and design of the Internet Gaming Solution’s technology. This role will provide their subject matter expertise to OLG, AGCO, Payment Provider and any other service provider or auditor needing to understand the Internet Gaming Solution.

Responsibilities include a thorough understanding of information system auditing techniques to ensure compliance to regulatory and industry requirements, and compliance to internal policies.

This role will manage the delivery (timing, deliverables and quality) of a robust and compliant Internet Gaming Solution technology to support the iGaming business. This role will coordinate activities and deliverables from multiple internal and external groups (e.g., internal IT group for information security analysts and information technology architects, service providers). This role will define and coordinate internal technical resources in reviewing the technology to confirm compliance and to confirm issues are resolved according to action plans.

This role will be the point of contact with the payment processor’s PCI DSS compliance group and will need to have an in-depth technical knowledge of the standards and how the internet gaming solution’s technology conforms to the standards. This role will be the point of contact for external auditors contracted for PCI DSS compliance auditing. This role will manage the action plans that come out of PCI DSS audits in collaboration with the payment processor and the internet gaming platform providers.

This role will manage resolution of technical audit findings. This role will work closely with auditors and IT resources (internal, AGCO, PCI DSS related, internal IT, service providers) to understand audit findings, to ensure findings are accurate and to define, coordinate and execute resolution plans. This role will work closely with the primary service provider to build the resolution plans and to oversee the implementation of the resolution plans.

This role will work with AGCO, internal and external auditors to define technical audits.


MAJOR RESPONSIBILITY AREAS:

· Design, implement, coordinate and manage technical audit and testing strategies to satisfy regulatory and business operational requirements of the outsourced Internet Gaming Solution
· Audits include industry reviews such as External Penetration Testing for PCI DSS compliance
· Must negotiate and coordinate vendor activities to enable the audit to be performed and to design, schedule and implement remediation
· Manage the technical SLA’s by actively monitoring and reporting on the status of the technology (availability, information security implementation, technical compliance status, currency of the technology, results and action plans from technical compliance audits)
· Participate in contract governance committee as the lead on vendor’s technology compliance to SLA’s
· Negotiating and coordinating technical work performed by the primary service provider and iGaming solution vendors to implement an acceptable technology architecture design
· Responsible for managing the quality of the iGaming solution technology by remaining current with industry best practices, by acquiring and maintaining a deep understanding of the iGaming solution technology from the primary service provider and iGaming service providers, and by understanding and incorporating OLG’s best practices, policies and architectural design principles
· Lead the coordination of internal IT resource activities related to iGaming technology such as designing testing plans, designing audit plans, defining benchmarks to test the iGaming solution technology against, coordinate and manage resources to compare the iGaming solution technology against standards, policies and benchmark architecture
· Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to foster a positive, collaborative and cooperative working environment in the delivery of a compliant and satisfactory technology solution. The technology for iGaming is outsourced and as such, strong relationship building is required to be successful in this role. In addition to the iGaming vendor relationships, many compliance requirements are governed by external parties (e.g., AGCO, VISA and Master Card for PCI DSS) which require strong, positive relationship management

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

· University degree in an information technology related field
· 9 years of experience in a Management role in Information Management Systems, Information Security, Information Architecture or Information Technology Audit
· Mandatory to have one or more of the following three designations:
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
· Extensive experience managing information technology systems including information security and robust end to end architectural design of ecommerce systems
· Experience performing technical / information security audits of ecommerce systems
· Experience in creating positive vendor relationships that deliver as expected
· Extensive understanding of architecture designs for distributed ecommerce systems
· Extensive understanding of information security designs for distributed ecommerce systems
· Understanding of testing and auditing methods used to verify all technical aspects of the technology used for an ecommerce system
· Extensive understanding of PCI DSS compliance requirements
