Training Coordinator- Nisku, Alberta
The Training Coordinator is responsible for handling incoming training requests from field employees and booking them in the appropriate programs. Responsibilities include:
·Assisting with the Rig Tech Apprenticeship program;
·Building relationships with outside training facilities;
·Tracking and arranging training payment for field employees;
·Tracking data, receiving invoices from vendors and compensating employees for training;
·Working with Rig Managers and Field Superintendents for approvals and special rig site training;
·Verifying and posting invoices;
·Entering a high volume of data into both Lotus Notes and SAP databases; and,
·Other duties and projects as required.
The successful applicant will possess the following qualifications:
·High school diploma;
·Experience in administration, customer service and data entry would all be assets;
·Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word;
·Previous SAP experience would be an asset;
·Previous oilfield experience preferred but not required;
·Strong attention to detail;
·Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment;
·Ability to multi task and coordinate to meet deadlines;
·Ability to work independently and in group settings; and,
·Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
