Equipment Quality Control Coordinator- Red Deer, Alberta
The Equipment Quality Control Coordinator is responsible for the coordination and quality assurance of critical component equipment, providing quality support to operational centers, and meeting business objectives. Responsibilities include:
·Coordinating repairs and certification of equipment sent to the Technical Support Centre (TSC) from various areas and ensuring timeliness and priority of repairs;
·Maintaining accurate and timely paperwork between the operations centers and TSC to ensure accurate tracking of inventories;
·Maintaining an efficient and organized shipping/receiving bay;
·Liaising with all operating areas;
·Ensuring that all company numbered assets are properly tracked by initiating timely transferred in SAP to and from the TSC;
·Certifying equipment timely so that it that aligns with activity and budgeted expenses;
·Assisting in maintaining a clean, organized and efficient yard;
·Ensuring accurate and timely purchase orders are generated for all expenditures to facilitate accurate costing by the TSC manager;
·Managing the complete life cycle of work orders in a timely and accurate manor; and,
·Assisting in the coordination of all shipping and receiving functions to and from the TSC.
The successful applicant will possess the following qualifications:
·Must have a High School diploma;
·Previous rig experience and/or oilfield background an asset
·Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel;
·Excellent organization skills;
·Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
·Ability to work independently and or as part of a team; and,
·Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
