Equipment Service Technician - Estevan, SK The Equipment Service Technician is responsible for performing repairs and maintenance on surface equipment and well site units. Responsibilities include: · Perform pipefitting, minor welding, plumbing, electrical repairs and carpentry work as required; · Cleaning, repairing and painting equipment; · Other general shop tasks as assigned; and · Participating in an on-call rotation with the possibility to work overtime from time to time.
The successful applicant will possess the following qualifications:
· High School Diploma; · Completion of college/vocational technical training is considered an asset; · Mechanical aptitude and 2 years experience in a similar role; · Valid Class 5 Drivers License and a current Drivers Abstract; · Current WHMIS, TDG, H2S and FIRST AID Certificates or ability to obtain; · Excellent attitude toward a safe work environment; · Ability to handle physically demanding work; · Strong work ethic, self-motivated and able to work independently; and · Positive attitude and ability to work well with others.
