The Opportunity
Millwright (Apprentice or Journeyman) – Calgary, AB The Millwright is responsible for the assembly of newly fabricated oilfield equipment and the teardown, replacement and troubleshooting of drilling rig equipment for repair.
The successful applicant will possess the following qualifications:
· Journeyman or apprenticeship training preferred; · Must have ability to read and assemble equipment from prints and drawings; · Must have ability to conduct precision measurement and inspection of mechanical components; · Excellent attitude toward safety and demonstrated commitment to a safe work environment; · Strong work ethic, self-motivated and able to work independently; · Positive attitude and ability to work well with others; and · Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
