The Opportunity

Equipment Service Technician  - Red Deer, AB
The Equipment Service Technician is responsible for repair and regular maintenance servicing on Precision Rental’s surface equipment and well site units. Responsibilities include:
·         Perform pipefitting, minor welding, plumbing, electrical repairs and carpentry work as required;
·         Cleaning, repairing and painting equipment;
·         Other general shop tasks as assigned; and
·         Requirement to work overtime from time to time as well as participate in an on-call rotation.

The successful applicant will possess the following qualifications:

·         High School Diploma;
·         Completion of college and/or vocational and technical training is considered an asset; and
·         Mechanical knowledge and previous experience in a similar role.
·         Valid Class 5 Drivers License and current Drivers Abstract;
·         Current WHMIS, TDG, H2S and FIRST AID;
·         Excellent attitude towards safety and working in a safe environment;
·         Strong work ethic, self-motivated and able to work independently;
·         Positive attitude and able to work well with others; and
·         Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
