OFF MALL SALES Sears Off Mall Sales Channel brings a wide selection of merchandise and services to where people live through varied Off Mall formats including Home Stores, Dealer Stores and Outlet Stores. This position is primarily responsible for supervising the day-to-day activities of the sales team in their assigned department, in order to maintain a high level of customer service, in accordance with Sears standards.
This involves: • providing supervision, coaching/training, recruitment, scheduling, monitoring activities, and participating in performance assessment of sales staff; • performing a variety of sales/customer service activities to ensure complete customer satisfaction; • developing and maintaining a high level of product knowledge pertaining to merchandise in designated department; and • monitoring and maintaining the sales floor for the department, including inventory control, correct ticketing, accuracy of promotional signing/merchandise, etc. Success in this role calls for strong customer service and supervisory/leadership skills. The ideal job candidate will have some experience in a Sales Associate role. Other qualifications for this job include: • Organizational/planning skills • Ability to operate Point of Sale terminal
