This position is primarily responsible for processing a variety of transactions and maintaining the customer service desk area and assigned sales floor. This includes: • Accurately processing transactions (e.g., sales, payments, credits, refunds, voided transactions, etc.) and operating Point of Sale and related equipment; • Providing excellent customer service with all customer interactions; • Reporting any repeated customer service issues/concerns to the Customer Service Desk Leader or Sales Team Leader; • Maintaining the customer service desk area and assigned sales floor in accordance with “Close New Everyday” standards; and • Actively promotes Sears Loyalty Programs and provides add-on/suggestion selling. Success in this role calls for excellent customer service and problem-solving skills. The ideal job candidate will have some experience in a Sales /Customer Service role.
