This position is responsible for obtaining qualified leads/prospects from customers for the sale of Home Installed products and services (HIPS), following up with leads, arranging for customer appointments and responding to general inquiries regarding products, installations, warranties, etc. This involves: • developing and qualifying leads for HIPS products and services (e.g., windows, doors, draperies, carpet, etc.); • reviewing and consulting with customers on their needs and estimating cost of custom products; • recording pertinent lead/customer information into the system; • communicating leads and customer information to sales staff; and • scheduling appointments. As a Lead Developer HIPS, you will need to maintain up to date knowledge of products and services provided to ensure current/accurate information is provided to customers. On a monthly basis you will conduct a customer service survey to verify all ”kill” leads and record reasons, in order to report results to management. Other job duties include maintaining a neat work area, including updating and stocking displays, sample products, brochures, etc. Success in this role calls for good customer service, selling and teamwork skills, as well as knowledge of home-related improvement services/process.
