This position is primarily responsible for providing courteous and professional service to all Sears customers and generating sales and profitability. This includes:
• Proactively engaging customers through acknowledgement in a timely and effective manner;
• Using available resources to provide accurate product information, including features, advantages/benefits and warranties;
• Resolving customer complaints and issues;
• Accurately processing transactions, including payments, credits/refunds, voided transactions, as required;
• Maintaining merchandise presentation standards throughout the day; and
• Actively promotes Sears Loyalty Programs and provides add-on/suggestion selling.
The ideal job candidate will have excellent Customer Service skills and be proactive in approaching customers.
This position provides an excellent opportunity to broaden your customer service skills in a role that contributes to making Sears a great place to shop – and can lead to positions of increased responsibility.
We recommend that all associates should have completed a minimum of 12 months in their current role, should have their performance in good standing and should have discussed their career development plans with their current manager, before applying to internal roles.
