We are a United Church Hospital affiliated with the Vancouver Coastal Health Authority. R.W.Large Memorial is situated waterside on the "Inside Passage" amidst a rainforest environment. Eagles, whales, seals and other sea-life abound in the surround waters. Hiking, boating, kayaking and other recreation services are available to the outdoor enthusiast. Waglisla or "Bella Bella" is home to the Heiltsuk Nation who have a history dating back 10,000 years. The hospital also serves residents of Denny Island, Klemtu and Ocean Falls; as well as transient mariners, loggers and tourists.

Status: Regular Part Time (0.50) and Locum / Casual opportunities.
Start Date: As Soon As Possible
Salary: $29.02 - $38.10 per hour

JOB SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, provides direct patient care in all areas of the hospital including ER. Plans, delivers and evaluates nursing interventions for assigned patients.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduation from a recognized Nursing program. Current practicing CRNBC registration and CPR certification required. Experience in nursing preferred.
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Ability to work independently, prioritize and organize work. Ability to deal with others effectively. Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position. Ability to operate related equipment.
Currently we offer relocation/commitment reimbursement, ocean front housing as a taxable benefit, including hydro, and cable.
