Director, Energy & Environmental Sustainability

Bring your demonstrated, working knowledge of relevant, industry best practices related to energy and environmental sustainability and passion for promoting and inspiring change to a role where you can make a significant contribution to healthcare in B.C.

In this key role:

·         Provide leadership and strategic direction to energy management and environmental sustainability activities throughout the Fraser Health Authority, the Vancouver Coastal Health Authority, the Provincial Health Services Authority and Providence Health Care.

·         Lead key elements such as meeting regulatory requirements and fostering behavioural change.

·         Primary partnerships are with Executive Directors, Chief Operating Officers and other senior leaders including private sector partners, government agencies and other, external stakeholder groups.

Your qualifications include a Master’s Degree and professional designation in a relevant discipline, and ten years’ recent, related experience in progressively complex and senior management, leadership roles in a large, multi-site organization.  Your background includes significant experience with energy management initiatives, capital projects, facilities operations and environmental sustainability.
