ABOUT THE POSITION
- Upholster various Chair seats, backs, arms, and headrest using string upholstery machine
- Work with various fabrics including vinyl and leather
- Attaching fabric, Vinyl, leather to frame with pneumatic staple gun and/or upholstery press;
- Inspecting upholster fabric for quality
- Use staple gun and other hand tools
- Ensure quality workmanship for all chair upholster components and assembly operations by communicating with Quality Control and Supervisors for improvement opportunities.
- Other duties as assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be capable of performing repetitive tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment;
- Must be comfortable and capable of using a pneumatic staple gun;
- Must be able to stand for extended periods;
- Must be physically fit with a proven ability to work well with hands;
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Three (3) years furniture upholstery experience;
- High school diploma;
- English
PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE) REQUIRED:
- Steel-toed shoes
- Safety glasses (will be provided)
