A full service tooling provider of progressive transfer and tandem dies. Specializing in deep draw, aluminum, ultra high strength steel and complex stamping dies.
Responsibilities include:
- Designing progressive, transfer and line dies
- Interacting with customers regarding design reviews and follow-up
- Providing technical support to machining/tryout/build throughout the die manufacturing process
- Maintaining documentation records of complete die design
- Creating process layouts for part data
- Develop trim lines/ morph surfaces/troubleshoot
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years tool design experience
- Solid background in metal stamping, an asset
- Skills in 3D design and Solid Modelling
- AutoForm experience, an asset
- ProE/Creo experience required
- UG/NX experience, an asset
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
