Duties and Responsibilities:
The Sales Representative would be responsible for new business development within our market for Heating Oil and Propane fuel sales as well as HVAC Equipment sales.
The successful candidate will demonstrate outside sales management skills and is responsible for acquiring and maintaining new accounts as well as retaining existing accounts for maximum growth.
Their goal is to promote the Products and Services MacGillivray Fuels offers while providing the highest level of customer service through advice, recommendations, and basic support. In addition, the Sales Representative will work to identify customer needs and work towards solutions for the customer.
Daily tasks would include but not limited to obtaining new business, answering and tending to customer inquiries, visits to potential and existing customers, providing quotations, offering advice and assistance, and maintaining strong customer relationships.
Qualifications:
Prior Sales Experience
Outstanding customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills
Excellent relationship building skills with customers and teammates
Some general knowledge of Heating and Cooling Equipment would be an asset with the intention to learn more as the employment cycle progresses.
Experience working in a fast-paced environment with a strong attention to detail
Possess a strong work ethic and a high standard of integrity
Ability to work well independently and in a team setting
Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
Possess a Valid Driver’s License and a Clean Drivers Abstract
Experience using computers and Microsoft Word and Excel programs
