National Bank is growing in Alberta where you would play an integral role in the business’ expansion.
As Senior Commercial Account Manager, you will be essential in growing the portfolio of business clients assigned to you. Your complex and varied duties will help you rapidly become a trusted advisor to your clients for their financial needs.
This position reports to the Associate Vice-President Commercial and is in Calgary.
Your role:

Identify and develop business opportunities in your market, increase your commercial client base, and establish business development strategies

Help your clients attain their business objectives by proposing financial strategies based on the most suitable combination of Bank products and services
-
Meet clients' changing needs by adapting and optimizing financial products and advice/approaches
-
Negotiate the terms and conditions of agreements with clients, while making sure that they meet risk management standards and profitability criteria

Draw up business development plans

Assist the center in reaching objectives

Work in synergy with your colleagues at National Bank Financial, Private Banking, and retail networks to engage clients effectively and generate the highest collective NPS

Work with the Manager – Financing Solutions to structure competitive solutions for our clients to help them grow.

Competencies required:

Based on your academic background, at least 5 to 9 years' experience in sales and business development within the financial industry:

University certificate and 9 years' experience
-
Bachelor's degree and 7 years' experience
-
Master's degree and 5 years' experience
-
Experience in sales and business development - you are a self-motivated player who excels at winning the business and is motivated by a strong entrepreneurial drive

Senior and tenured experience in commercial credit

Network of professional contacts among local medium-sized entreprises and large companies
-
English spoken and written is required, French or a second language is an asset
